About
Yassin Elnoshokaty is an Egyptian-born, Los Angeles–based composer whose work spans film, television, trailers, and global media campaigns. With a voice that is both emotionally resonant and sonically distinctive, he has emerged as one of a new generation of composers bringing a fresh perspective to contemporary screen music.
His growing body of work includes collaborations with Marvel, MGM, BBC, UNICEF, and the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Yassin began his career at the age of 17, contributing to the UNICEF film Life in Moria, and quickly established himself as a composer with an instinct for emotionally driven storytelling. He is also the first Egyptian to work at Hans Zimmer’s Bleeding Fingers Music, underscoring his unique place within the international composing landscape.
Among his recent credits, Yassin scored Vision, the Webby Award–winning film for the Elton John AIDS Foundation, composed The Main Sulu Theme and additional score for Beam Me Up, Sulu featuring George Takei, and contributed additional music to Hollywood Black, the acclaimed two-time Emmy-nominated docuseries for MGM+.
Recognized for his bold musical identity and commitment to innovation, Yassin approaches each project with the aim of creating music that feels original, emotionally powerful, and culturally resonant. His writing often bridges cinematic scale with modern texture, supporting stories with depth, intensity, and character.
Yassin currently collaborates with the team at Parasol Music, working from his studio in Los Angeles with directors, producers, and creatives around the world. His work continues to reflect a clear artistic vision: to create music that not only supports storytelling, but expands it.
